Your wedding day

It’s your time to shine! Ain’t got time to stress. You have spent months working hard to plan this incredible day. My goal is to document it to show you that it was all worth it.

I’ll create a custom plan specific to you, ensuring all the best moments of your wedding day (and everything in between!) are captured while I stay invisible like a ninja.

Your wedding day is one of the most important days of your life and I can’t wait to learn more about your plans. Send me an email and let’s get the ball rolling!

Wilson was such a pleasure to work with. He is professional and brings a great energy with him. Our photos turned out even better than we had hoped for, and the best part was how comfortable he made us feel in the process. Thank you for capturing all of our special moments - we can’t thank you enough!!

When we first met Wilson, we knew right away that we wanted to work with him. We loved his attention to detail and his use of natural light to create soft photos. We were thrilled with how our photos turned out, and were amazing with how many photos we received from the 6hr package! Wilson (and his second shooter) captured every detail of our day, and we highly recommend other couples to work with him.

We just received our photos back from our wedding and we love all of them. Asides from capturing the highlights of the night perfectly, Wilson was excellent to work with throughout the whole planning process. He always re- sponded to emails and questions within hours. He also heard that we were hoping to use our engagement photos for our invitations, and so he returned the complete set of photos within a couple of days.

Where do we even start?

Email is a great place to start. Let me know about yourselves and the incredible day that you have planned. The more I know about you, the better that I can photograph you! From there we can meet to get to know each other better and talk about what you’ve got planned. Most importantly we want to make sure that were a good fit for each other.

Should we do an engagement shoot?

The engagement shoot is a great way for us to get to know each other both personally, and photographically. From the shoot, I can see how you guys interact with each other and what you’re comfortable with so your wedding day photos will be a breeze! If you feel like you’re uncomfortable with getting your photo taken, that is even more reason to do an engagement shoot.

Why do you always work with a second shooter?

Because every great hero has a great sidekick. Batman and Robin. Scooby and Shaggy. Mario and Luigi.  Also, because of four other reasons:

1. A single photographer can’t be in two places at once. Very handy to have during the getting ready, but even during the ceremony as well. To get the bride walking down the aisle, the grooms reaction, and the parents crying all at once is quite the challenge. With two photographers it’s almost a walk in the park!

2. There will always be someone shooting so nothing is missed. Except while you eat, as we usually eat then too because you probably don’t want photos of that!

3. A good second shooter is a good assistant, not just for me, but for the couple as well. They help make the day more efficient for everyone by helping hold bags, gather people, and many other things.

4. A second photographer offers more security. Sometimes the photographer can be accidentally blocked at the last second causing them to potentially miss a shot. With two photographers this is pretty much not a problem!

How many photos will we get and what is your turnaround time?

The number of photos you receive will largely depend on the kind of wedding you have. Generally, you should expect to receive around 80-100 photos per hour of shooting. Your photos will be delivered to you 1 month from your wedding day.

Harmoneous Editing

Editing is half the story in creating compelling imagery. It’s part of my craft. On average, 30 hours of editing is spent on each wedding to make sure everything is just right.

Your images have to look amazing as a singular photo while also being cohesive within the whole collection. All the photos comes out of the camera chronologically, but that doesn’t always makes sense in terms of a wedding gallery.

For example, I could be photographing details and then get pulled aside for a couple of groups photos and then I would go back to the details. When I create the gallery of images, I make sure that the details are grouped together, and the group shots are where they make sense. Your photos should be viewed like a movie, instead of jumping from one scene to another that’s not related.

Album Details

In todays digital age having your wedding photos in a physically tangible form can provide tremendous value. It’s unlikely that 10-20 years down the line from now that your kids will be digging through your hard drives and discovering your wedding photos.

My family is located around the world and we aren’t together often, but when we are, we always make sure to pull out all the old albums and reminisce over stories of the past. In a way, albums are like windows to remembering.

Various linen fabrics are available for your choosing. Album covers can include hand-lettered foiled stamped titles, custom embossing or a photo front to suit your individual needs.

You’re our guy! Whats next?

We celebrate! After that I will send you a copy of my contract to sign. Once that is signed and a retainer equivalent of 1/3rd of the total is paid (e-transfer/cheque/cash), your wedding date is locked in! Any questions? Hit me up.
