Excited for Junuary to be over and for the sun to come back very soon!
I got my start in photography shooting me and my friends biking with my brothers 3 megapixel brick camera. From there I branched out into shooting other things which became people which then became weddings. Jumped at the opportunity recently to do an engagement shoot for a mountain bike loving couple which combined aspects of where I first started with biking to where I am now with couples photography.

Been trying to do more shots on the ground lately. If you’ve got an engagement shoot coming up with me there is a chance that I may ask you to sit or even lay down on the ground!

Earlier in the day I saw the groom and several family members get quite emotional watching a slideshow of him and his wife growing up from when they were children. Later I was taking a photo of these kids a the wedding and one of them asked me why are you taking photos of us? Because I want you to have photos like this to look back on for your slideshow, kid.

Hey, that’s me! Just doing my thing, in the rain. Theres no where else I’d rather be. So you probably already know that I love shooting weddings because that’s all I post. Well here are 3 things that you may not know about me! 1. I’m a big MMA fan, mostly watch UFC as they are the premier organization, but I’ll watch some of the smaller shows too. Face punching is an art, but it’s also so much more than that. 2. On the polar opposite spectrum, I’m also a big Taylor Swift fan and am super excited to be going to her show tomorrow! While I mostly listen to rock music, listening to Taylor Swift makes me feel like a kid and I feel like we can all embrace our inner child a little more. 3. Since last year I’ve been trying to grow my own vegetables. I’m pretty awful at it, but enjoy the learning process. Right now I’m growing garlic, spinach, and swiss chard, though I’m really excited to grow some onions and lettuce! Bonus random fact: I once photographed Jessica Alba when I was 16. Don’t think she knew. Saw her walking out of a movie set. Have you guys ever had any celebrity sightings around town?
