Same couple as the previous post, except one year later and this time we were in Hong Kong!
Shooting in Hong Kong was a surreal, yet familiar experience. On one hand, I was shooting in Hong Kong, this somewhat unfamiliar place that was on the other side of the world. On the other, taking pictures is taking pictures, I could be in my house or on the other side of the world, the some principles still apply to taking good photos.
To plan for this shoot, obviously I couldn’t go ahead of time so I did all of my research online, mostly with google. I would first look at google maps on “earth” view to see if there were any interesting textures in the land and then if there was I would drop into street view and “walk around”. Come wedding day we just went to all of the spots I found online and it worked out pretty darn well!
