Brock House Restaurant

Brock house ceremony

Brock House is located right at Jericho Beach which makes it a prime location to have your wedding. You can have all of your portraits done at the beach or park and then walk on over to your wedding. The cocktail hour usually takes place in the back yard of Brock House, and it's very spacious which really gives it a garden party feel. The tent for the reception is one of the best in the city as it’s put up with weddings in mind and from a photography perspective, it’s super easy to take photos in. Evans Lake

Couple canoeing on a lake with mountain views

Evans Lake is located on a mountain in Squamish. If you want an outdoor wedding with stunning views, you should definitely take Evans Lake into consideration. The ceremony takes place in the middle of the woods and it’s truly a unique experience as you almost have to hike a little to get in there. High heels are not recommended! You actually get the whole place to yourself with the venue rental, which includes the lake and the canoes! Cabins can be available to all of your guests as part of the wedding rental package. Brix & Mortar

Wedding ceremony at Brix and Mortar

Brix & Mortar, or Brix as its more commonly known is located in the heart of Yaletown. If you’re considering having your wedding at Brix, I would recommend getting your photos done at Olympic Village or English Bay as they are nice locations which are also close by. Of course, if you want more urban photos you can make your way around Yaletown. Brix is known for their gorgeous ceremony space which works well for both summer and winter weddings as it is fully covered and heated. Cecil Green

Couple walking up steps with a house in the background

Cecil Green is located right at UBC which means you’ve got a plethora of portrait locations to choose from! You can go to a nearby beach, you can go to Pacific Spirit Park, you can go around the campus, you can even do your portraits at Cecil green itself. If it rains you can go to the Buchanan Building which is just a short walk away and it’s got all the cover that you need. The interior of Cecil Green is beautiful and while most ceremonies do happen outside, it's definitely not a compromise to have your ceremony inside! See all the photos from this wedding.

Camp Howdy

Couple celebrating after their wedding ceremony

Camp Howdy is located in Belcarra, just across the Indian Arm from Deep Cove. With a mountainous backdrop for the ceremony, it’s a great choice if you are looking for a ceremony location with a west coast feel. The venue has a small forest that you can use for photos, as well as its own beach which your guests can actually dock their boats at if they want to boat in. The open area next to the reception space is huge which makes it a perfect spot for yard games for your guests during cocktail hour. Check out this Camp Howdy wedding with a 17 person bridal party!
